Lidvina was born in Lonsdale, MN on April 4, 1924 to Vencel and Anna Vita. Mass of Christian Burial Thurs., 11:30 AM at the Church of St. Richard, 76th and Penn. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation one hour prior to Mass at church. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to St. Richard's Church. Age 89, of Richfield, passed away peacefully in the early morning of December 13, 2006. Preceded in death by beloved wife of 57 years, Lidvina (nee Vita). Survived by children, Ron (Ginger) and Charlene (John); grandchildren, Derrick (Alane), Jody (Jeremiah) and Drew; great-grandchild, Alexander. Stan loved his family, gardening and working on clocks. He retired from the retail grocery business in SW Minneapolis areas in 1979. Stan served in the Army during WWII with action March 1942-November 1945 with the 5th Armored Victory Division. He is a Charter Member of American Legion Post 435 and was also active with Boy Scouts and St. Richard's Church. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday Dec. 16, 2006, 11:30 AM at The Church of St. Richard, 7540 Penn Ave South with visitation starting at 10:00 at church.
