MISC. NOTES
Nathaniel B. Hardy was born in Franklin county, GA Sept 21, 838. This county was broken up into other counties. In 1858, part was broken off and named Banks county.

Nat Hardy said he enlisted in Civil War at Homer GA Banks County June or July 1861. He was in Company A Arminda C. Williamsth Georgia Regiment.

He married in Franklin (Banks) county to Arminda C. Williams on November 9, 1856.

On June 26, 1862 he was admitted to the Chimborazo Hospital in Richmond, VA with Rubeola - then on June 29, 1862 he was transferred to Danville Hospital in Danville, VA. His company commander (Chandler) entered his complaint as Febris Remekeus. He returned to duty August 28, 1862.

On June 5, 1863 he was back in Chimborazo Hospital Richmond VA with Hepatitis. Retunred to duty June 11, 1863.

Wounded August 1864. Did not return to ative duty discharged regular military duty 3 years 1 month but was in company until end of war.

Found on 1880 census of Gwinnett Cty, GA. He lived in Lawrenceville and listed 5 children living with him. Occupation: farmer. Both he and his wife and their parents born in GA. Arminda cannot read or write.

He lived in Fayette Cty in 1894-1895, Clayton Cty 1896-1897. Applied for his pension from Riverdale, Clayton Cty on March 4, 1897.

He lived in Gweinnett in 1898, Fayette in 1899, Walton Cty in 1900-1902, Logansville, Fayette in 1903, Walton in 1904-1907. He ceased signing up for his pension in 1907.

In the 1910 census, he was living with his son-in-law, Joseph Jackson, and was listed as widowed. Clayton Cty, GA.
